Super Pecan Pie

Ingredients: One unbaked 9-inch (4-cup volume) deep-dish pie shell (prepared) or make your own by using Chez Paul’s Butter Pastry, Three large eggs beaten slightly, One half cup of granulated sugar, One quarter teaspoon of salt, One cup of light corn syrup, One teaspoon of vanilla, one and a half cups of broken pecans. Whipped cream (mandatory)

 Preparation: Preheat oven to 350F. In a medium bowl combine beaten eggs, sugar, salt, corn syrup, vanilla and pecans; mixing well after each addition. Pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake for approximately forty five minutes. Pie should be firm when ready. Serve with whipped cream.
