Sour Cream Pound Cake 

Ingredients: One quarter pound butter, One and a half cups sugar,
One half cups sour cream, One quarter teaspoon baking soda, One and a half cups all-purpose flour, Three eggs, One teaspoon vanilla,
One teaspoon of lemon zest. 

Preparation: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter and sugar and cream together. Add the sour cream and mix until well blended. Sift the baking soda and flour together. Add to the creamed mixture alternating with eggs, beating each egg one at a time. Add the vanilla and lemon zest then pour the mixture into a greased and floured tube pan or bread pan. Bake for One hour.

Toothpick should come out clean when done. Slice pound cake and plate. Goes great with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
