Sandy's Pinto Bean Soup

Ingredients:
Two onions (diced), Five
garlic cloves (minced), One tablespoon of Italian seasoning,
One
bell pepper (chopped), Two ham hocks, One bag pinto beans, Two cans stewed
tomatoes.
Sauté onions in oil until
caramelized. Add pinto beans and Ham Hocks. Cover with water. Cook about 1 hour.
Add chopped bell pepper, garlic and seasonings. Continue cooking until beans are
soft, then add tomatoes.
