Popeye's Spinach Salad

Popeye’s Spinach Salad Dressing 

Ingredients: One cup of vegetable oil, One teaspoon of sugar, One tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, One-third cup of white vinegar, One-third cup of ketchup, One-third cup of chopped shallots.

In a large bowl blend together all ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate for an hour prior to serving.

Popeye’s Spinach Salad 

Ingredients: Two cups of spinach, One can of sliced water chestnuts, Two large hard boiled eggs (chopped), One-half pound of bean sprouts, Five slices of bacon cooked and crumbled, Two cups of Popeye’s Spinach Salad Dressing. 

Clean and wash two cups of baby spinach leaves, place in a large bowl. Add sliced water chestnuts, hardboiled eggs, bean sprouts and bacon. Add dressing and toss. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
