Pizza Dough
Ingredients: Starter; One half cup of all purpose flour, One half cup water, One
teaspoon of yeast. Dough; One and on half cups of warm water (not
hot), One teaspoon yeast, Four cups of flour. Preparation: For starter: Combine room temp water, flour and yeast. Let stand at
room temp overnight. For dough: Add water and yeast to starter; mix
then add salt and enough flour to make a soft dough. Let rise 1 1/2
to 2 hours. Pinch off a small piece of dough and place it in a jar
and refrigerate, to be used as a starter for your next pizza. Press
the rest of the dough into a large pizza pan or on a floured surface
and stretch out to desired size. Then add sauce then toppings. Cook
on stones in 500 degree oven for about 10 min. Remove pan or use a
pizza peel to remove pizza from oven. Slice and serve.
