Marinated Flank Steak a la Pablo
Ingredients:
Two pounds of lean flank steak, One medium onion, chopped; Four cloves of garlic, minced; Two jalapeno peppers, diced; One third cup of chopped cilantro, Three quarters cups of vegetable oil,One half cup fresh lime juice, Two tablespoons of coarse ground pepper, Two tablespoons of Lawry’s Seasoned salt, and One tablespoon of red pepper flakes.
Preparation:
In a small bowl combine onion, garlic, jalapenos, cilantro, lime juice and seasonings, mix well and set aside. Place the flank steak in a large zip lock bag or shallow baking dish. Pour marinade over steak and refrigerate from four to eight hours, the longer the better. When ready to cook remove steak from marinade, grill on the barbeque for approximately six to seven minutes per side. Remove from grill and let set for a couple of minutes, and then slice against the grain at an angle for best results. Serve immediately.
