Chez Paul's Coleslaw
Ingredients:
One large head of cabbage shredded fine, One half cup of bacon grease, Two teaspoons
of coarse ground pepper, One small red onion, chopped fine; Ten slices of crisp
bacon, crumbled; One half cup of vegetable oil, One third cup of white vinegar,
One teaspoon of salt.
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients one by one in order of appearance, mixing
after each addition. Serve immediately. This salad once tossed does not sit well
in the refrigerator for very long.
