Asparagus Pie

Ingredients: One cup fresh cooked asparagus, One unbaked pastry shell (9 inches), One cup cooked chopped chicken, Three strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled, One third cup shredded Cheddar cheese, Three eggs, One and a third cups light cream, Two teaspoons flour, One half teaspoon salt and paprika

Preparation: Preheat oven to 375º. Arrange asparagus in bottom of pie shell. Top with chicken, bacon and cheese. In a small bowl, beat eggs; stir in cream, flour and salt. Pour into shell. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand five minutes before cutting.
