Antipasto
ANTIPASTO
Ingredients:
Two
large cans Starkist
(white) tuna, drained;
Two jars sliced artichoke crowns sliced in quarters, drain marinade;
One
large jar pickled onions,
drained…..reserve liquid; One
large jar pickled vegetables, cut if too large; One jar
Del
Monte whole dill pickles, drained and chopped, reserve liquid; Two
large cans button mushrooms,
drained; Three tablespoons
of the reserved onion juice, Two tablespoons of
the reserved pickle juice, One large can each of black and
green olives drained and pitted, Two
large jars or cans of marinara sauce
(Try Chez Paul's Marinara Sauce). Mix
one can or jar of the Marinara with the above and spread the other
can on top, mix later before serving.
Serve
with crackers ….makes
a good appetizer, or canapé
