Key Lime Pie

Ingredients: One half cup of real key lime juice (you may have to look a bit to find it but it is available), Fourteen ounce can of sweetened condensed milk, three egg yolks (this recipe does not use the egg whites), Sixteen to eighteen Mother’s Lemon Sugar cookies, crushed; One half cup of melted butter, One cup of heavy cream, whipped. 

Preparation: Grease a 9” pie pan with butter and set aside. Mix crushed sugar cookies with melted butter until well blended and press into pie pan. In a medium bowl mix the egg yolks, condensed milk and key lime juice until well blended. Pour mixture into pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for fifteen minutes. Remove and cool for fifteen minutes before placing in the refrigerator. Chill for at least an hour before serving. Serve with whipped cream.
