Ingredients: Two medium California avocados, One tablespoon of fresh lime juice, Two tablespoons of mayonnaise (Best Foods), Half teaspoon of pepper, One garlic clove minced, One teaspoon of chile powder, Two tablespoons of diced shallots, Two tablespoons of hot salsa. Preparation: Peel and pit the avocados. In a small bowl mash the avocado's (should be lumpy) and add lime juice. Combine the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Serve with tortilla chips. You may want to melt shredded Monterey Jack or Mozzarella over chips.
